ConCreates is an agency ran by and staffed by formerly incarcerated individuals. For Black History Month – we wanted to do something different.

#BrillianceBehindBars was born: a campaign highlighting Black Americans that had changed the narrative around incarceration, fighting against and through it from behind bars. A month-long campaign generated a significant push in interest for an emerging full-service agency while highlighting individuals that have been fighting against mass incarceration and systemic oppression.
